When ya coming to the great northwest? The good and wonderfully weird folks in Portland would love to hear you perform.

Hello Bill--I have see you some years ago a number of times. Sorry to hear of your struggles. I am a friend of Bill W. myself so have a sense of it. It is good to hear you are back to creating great songs. Your recent story of your struggles moved me and I was compelled to wish you well. I hope to see you in concert sometime soon. Be well, Gary

I can only try to put words to the feelings that your music conjours. I first saw you back in Concord, MA at the Colonial Inn. must have been 1986 ish. I walked in there insearch of a distraction and a beer. I remember being drawn in and walking along with every story you told. I went out and picked up North and Standing Eight within days. I find myself going back to these when I need a sympathetic voice to walk me through those difficult spaces. We have all walked down that path, you seem to have this unique gift of giving those feelings a way out. I live in a small town by the river in NH. and I love your music. thank you for letting us into your world.

Bill, I'm involved with an exhibit and concert series in Peterborough called The Folkway Remembered. Just watched an old video of the FW Tribute concert in Keene from 1988 and really enjoyed your part of it. We are thinking of a doing nice final concert. Are you available Oct 16? See www.PeterboroughHistory.org Jim
